The address and phone number is: We have now overflowed into the Holiday Inn Express (Independence, MO)Call the hotel directly at: 816-795-8889 and use the same code of "LightningFest" Only 20 rooms are available, and the block expires 9-13. After that date, you probably will not get the $69 rate for your reservation, if any rooms are still available.
We have negotaited a rate of $69/night. This price is substantially lower than the normal rates, and this is a great hotel that is only 3 years old. We have been able to block out the complete hotel (86 rooms) as well as using the ajoining Holiday Inn Express as the overflow rooms. All reservations are to be made through the Comfort Suites number as both hotels are owned by the same company. |

"Any Pickup" (Dodge, GM or Ford) can race at LightningFest 4 |

This year we are opening LightningFest 4 drag racing to "Any Pickup" (Dodge, GM or Ford) that wishes to race the Lightning/HD Trucks for BRAGGING RIGHTS!
The open drag races will start after the award ceremony on Saturday night (23rd) from 6:30 PM-11:30 PM. The open drag racing will continue on Sunday (24th) 9:00 AM-4:30 PM. NOTE: All trucks competing at the open drags must pass NHRA Tech inspection at the track.The open racing fee is $15/truck and driver each day. Spectators are welcome, $10/day or $15/3-day event. Kids 12 and under are free. Open racing and spectator fees will be collected at the track! See You There!
